The then Mayor of Galway Hildegarde Naughton announced to the press, some weeks beforehand, the entertainment she had chosen for the extravaganza. This included Marc as MC on the night & indeed he performed a song with the Mayor as well.
The four charities that benefited from the night were Cope’s Waterside House, ISPCC, Enable Ireland, and Galway Contact. It was attended by many dignitories including An Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
